Swimming pool construction trade

There are different types of swimming pools depending on how they are constructed.

Swimming pools are divided into builders (made of concrete) and prefabricated, presenting large variations in cost. In the first case, after the excavation of the ground is completed, the pool is molded from the beginning and built from concrete or shotcrete, while in the second it is assembled and placed immediately after the excavation. Prefabricated pools, depending on how they are installed, are divided into permanent and temporary. The permanent ones are delivered with the necessary operating equipment and are placed submerged in the ground on a layer of inert materials or lightly reinforced concrete.

They are produced in standardized dimensions, shapes and sizes according to the mold provided by the manufacturer.

The temporary ones are placed without preliminary work on the ground, on a flat and smooth surface, they have a circular or rectangular shape and simple equipment. They are made of a durable membrane with a metal frame, have a relatively shallow depth and are easy to transport.

To build or install a prefabricated pool, the opening must be larger than its dimensions. Built pools are made of concrete (at the concreting stage, the installation of networks and lighting is planned), followed by plastering with watertight, pressed cement mortar and shaping the final surface with a special type of tile or paint.

Shotcrete (gunite) pools have the ability to take any irregular shape. After the excavation, the plumbing and electrical networks, as well as an iron grid, are placed on the walls. At the end, concrete is pressure shot without the need to build a formwork.

The pool wall must be watertight, which is achieved by mixing mass sealants during concreting and by plastering afterwards. For permanent prefabricated pools, various methods are used that combine synthetic materials (fiberglass) and flexible PVC sheets.

In the on-site construction, special attention is required in the connection of the perimeter walls with the bottom plate, as well as provision for sealing the joints.

Indoor pools

Indoor swimming pools can be configured inside a residence, giving a special look to the space.

Enjoying swimming regardless of weather conditions is their main advantage. But care should be taken to remove moisture - which poses many risks to a building - as a heated pool causes 1-2 liters of water to evaporate per hour. In addition, its proximity to the structural elements of the building must be considered.

An indoor swimming pool can be combined with the heating of both the water and its shaping area.

There are many types of heating systems (solar panels, combustion heating, pumps, etc.) and are chosen according to the type of construction and the wishes of the user.

Pools with variable depth are suitable for children, but also for people with mobility problems or the elderly. To clean the inside of the pool, equip yourself with special brooms, brushes, detergents and a scraper.

SALT ELECTROLYSIS

SALT IS A DISINFECTANT

In our pool we put 3.5 - 4 kg of salt per cubic meter of water, which dissolves immediately and corresponds to 8 - 10 times less salt than sea water.

We place the salt electrolysis machine in the engine room of the pool, in existing engine room facilities. The salt electrolysis machine will separate the salt into chlorine and potassium gas resulting in the destruction of microorganisms, viruses, etc.

ATTENTION the salt electrolysis mechanism to be installed must be such as to cover the needs of the pool's water (depending on its size).

The result is perfect disinfection, the water does not sting the eyes and does not smell of chlorine.
