The European specifications are now applied by our Company both in terms of labeling and in terms of the laboratory control of Production where the raw materials are checked upon entering the factory and the batches of finished products are checked upon leaving the factory.

The significant production power of NOVAMIX is based on its two factories, in Thebes and in Paiana. The new factory in Ypato Thebes is a state-of-the-art production unit with a production capacity exceeding 300,000 tons of mortar production per year.

The heavy traffic load of people, the vibrations from passing trains, the special demands on delivery times and safety specifications make the installation of coatings on underground railway surfaces among the most difficult to do today. Applications such as the installation of glass tiles on ceilings (see Aigaleo station) require adhesives with a long open time of application but also thixotropy capable of holding the tile while at the same time allowing the installer to make minor corrections to achieve the best aesthetic result. The ideal product for this application was the highly elastic zero-slip adhesive with a long application time NOVACOL FLEX that meets the EN C2TE S1 specification.

The placement of 3cm thick polished natural granite. it requires the welding materials to be able to bear the heavy weight of the plate since the product is pre-polished and cannot be polished in situ and at the same time facilitate the installer by providing him with good workability. Furthermore, taking into account that natural stones when installed with the traditional cement mortar system or with common tile adhesives, may create two colors in the stone, the use of adhesives such as the high-performance elastic adhesive MARMOFLEX that meets the EN C2FTE S2 specification for cement-based adhesives is mandatory , which ensures that marble and moisture-sensitive rocks in general do not discolor.

The permanent presence of water, which also contains chemicals, requires the welding materials to be resistant to the permanent presence of water and the grouts to be resistant to chemicals.
