Swimming Style<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PoolAbout\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">While it is the most ideal for<\/a> people with musculoskeletal problems due to the almost non-existent vibrations thus offering more safety and comfort to the joints.<\/p>\n<p><strong>There are four competitive swimming styles, freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Swimming Style<\/h2>\n<p>Freestyle is the fastest of the four styles. The position of the body should be horizontal and flat so as to reduce resistance. The movement of the legs is continuous and starts from the thighs, thus maintaining the balance of the body.<\/p>\n<p>The hands are what propel the body forward while the coordination of hands and feet is decisive for the smooth movement of the body.<\/p>\n<p>In the process of learning free it is recommended to breathe from both sides usually every three hands. The body should be on its back, well stretched, and on the surface of the water.<\/p>\n<p>Particular emphasis must be placed on the pelvis, which either facilitates or hinders the smoothness of movement. The pelvis should be as high as possible on the surface. The aprons move continuously and rhythmically, with small and quick movements.<\/p>\n<p>The movement of the hands is also continuous, having the opposite direction to that of the free hand<strong>. The backstroke<\/strong> it is the most &quot;painless&quot; of the four styles for this and is indicated for people with spinal problems.<\/p>\n<h2>Front<\/h2>\n<p><strong>The front<\/strong> it is usually the third style taught to beginners. It is considered a relatively difficult style due to the peculiarity of the movement of the legs but also the coordination between arms, legs and breathing. The legs make the most effort to propel the body forward. In the front, the knees receive the most friction for this and should be avoided by people with injuries or sensitivities in the knees.<\/p>\n<h2>Butterfly<\/h2>\n<p><strong>The butterfly<\/strong> is a progression from front swimming. It is a dolphin-like movement of the body moving both aprons at the same time.
