Print this list and give it to your friends with children. <a href=\"https:\/\/pool-about.gr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Measures to prevent drowning<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Measures to prevent drowning<\/h2>\n<p>Never leave your child unattended in or near water!<\/p>\n<p>Do not use flotation devices (arms, inflatables, coils, etc.) as a substitute for supervision.<\/p>\n<p>Make sure your child learns <a href=\"https:\/\/pool-about.gr\/en\/pisina-article\/epexergasia-nerou-article\/e-coli-kindynos-gia-tin-ygeia-mas-apo-ta-nera-anapsychis\/\">swimming<\/a> as early as possible (usually after 4 years), by qualified trainers. Small children (especially those under 6) should be closely supervised by an adult while swimming.<\/p>\n<p>Teach your child that he should never swim alone!<\/p>\n<p>Learn CPR.<\/p>\n<p>At home<\/p>\n<p>If your child is small, be with them constantly when they bathe.<\/p>\n<p>Empty the tub as soon as you finish bathing.<\/p>\n<p>Never let the older child supervise the younger.<\/p>\n<p>Keep the bathroom door locked so that the child cannot enter without you noticing.<\/p>\n<p>In the swimming pool<\/p>\n<p>If you have a pool in your home make sure to FULLY FENCE it. Install a door that closes and locks automatically. Of course, protective railings and &quot;effective&quot; doors are preventive measures, but they can in no way replace supervision!<\/p>\n<p>Make sure that there are no tables and chairs near the pool fence, because the child can climb and enter the pool.<\/p>\n<p>Remove the toys from the pool area, as a child playing with the toys may fall into the water.<\/p>\n<p>Have a phone by the pool.
