Andares Master Plan: Hyatt Regency Andares.<\/strong> Hotel and pool development in Mexico by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos. The band Andares mixed use designed<\/a> by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos is the visionary urban assembly that has installed the belt<\/a> Puerta de Hierro as a new center for the city of Zapopan.<\/p>\n

The Andares Master Plan officially began in 2009 with the construction of the shopping center and high-rise residential building, but an expansion was always planned. The Hyatt Regency Andares is part of this master plan, as a major 70,000 square meter project that includes a hotel and luxury apartments.<\/p>\n

The Hyatt Regency Andares forms a visual and spatial backdrop to the interior street of Paseo Andares, a street created to serve each of the different uses of the complex internally, complementing the urban layout of the city.<\/p>\n $\"Hyatt$ \n

The building rises 41 stories above street level. The ground floor includes a tree-lined public plaza that connects to this internal street and acts as a distributor for the motor lobby.<\/p>\n

The volume rises like a thin prism with its main facades facing north and south, and presenting an enclosure formed vertically in five sections by the window openings and horizontally by the amenity terraces that divide the tower.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the east-west facades are blind, leaving only vertical openings for ventilation. The facades used a sober material palette, with the purity of the white concrete elegantly framing the painted black aluminum and glass.<\/p>\n $\"Hyatt$ \n
In terms of program, the tower is divided as follows: the hotel occupies the lower 12 floors and the residential apartments the top 28 floors, each with its own amenities. Floor 13 is dedicated to the transportation of services and facilities used by both types of programs.<\/p>\n
The hotel experience begins with the ground floor motor lobby, which includes multiple retail spaces, along with meeting rooms and a mini ballroom, responding to the commercial requirements of the area. On the following levels, hotel amenities such as the Lobby Lounge, bar, restaurant and main ballroom are located on the first floor, while the swimming pool, gym<\/a> and an exclusive members club are located on the next floor.<\/p>\n
The vertical circulation core located at the northeast corner of the tower is strategically divided by use and capacity, with three elevators for the residential floors and three for hotel guests.
\nThe ground floor further includes the lobby which welcomes people to the residences and creates the sense of arrival of the hotel.<\/p>\n

The 257 luxurious hotel rooms occupy floors 2 to 12, including 25 unique suites.
\nStarting on floor 14, the residences occupy 1,080 sq m per level, with a total of 105 apartments of various layouts ranging from 125 sq m to 250 sq m, culminating in two penthouses on the top floors of the tower.<\/p>\n
The swimming pool is the centerpiece of the residential amenities, occupying a double-height floor with an open terrace facing south, while a multi-purpose room is located on the east side of the building near the elevators and visually connects a terrace with Paseo Antares.<\/p>\n
To complement each interior and provide an air of warmth, an artistic collaboration was made with C\u00e9sar L\u00f3pez-Negrete, the artist responsible for creating unique works of art to inhabit the hotel's public spaces. Likewise, Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos collaborated with Rodrigo Vargas Design and LR Arquitectura for the conceptual design and development of the hotel's interior design.<\/p>\n $\"Hyatt$ \n
Manufacturing information<\/h2>\n
The Hyatt Regency Andares not only represents the new wave of buildings that position Jalisco as an example of high standards of architecture in Mexico, but also represents the second tallest hotel in the country, reaching a height of 173 meters.
