The stone-clad base volumes are offset below the upper concrete volumes. These are detailed to maintain the purity of elemental forms through the limited materiality of concrete, travertine and finished wood. the house, a material continuity is maintained.<\/p>\n

This enhances the interaction with the landscape where inside and outside become indistinguishable. The covered exterior deck and pool are also finished in travertine, maintaining a fluid connection that culminates in a glass-walled pool, creating a wonderful interaction with the bay. The six bedrooms on either side of this ridge all have access to landscaped terraces. The master bedroom, accessed via a private vestibule, spans the full width of the house with a continuous balcony facing the bay.
