The \u201cMega Pool Saver\u201d inverter (MPS1100) is a high performance variable speed controller that can be used with a single speed pump (power up to 2.00HP-single phase) already existing in a pool.
\nThe system allows the single-speed pump to operate at a lower flow rate, thereby increasing pump efficiency and reducing energy consumption up to 80%.
\nSingle speed pumps usually operate at a higher rate than required and thus prove to be inadequate and expensive. This system has a built-in timer that offers up to 4 time periods for the pump to operate within a 24 hour period. It also allows the user to choose between 30 different speeds, giving them more control. Of course the system can also be stabilized in time and operate at the same speed continuously.
\nThe MPS1100E model is additionally equipped with an air temperature sensor for use as an anti-freeze system and 2 dry contacts which give a boost and signal to the heat pump or salt chlorinator when it starts up.<\/p>\n
