From the traditional and widespread reinforced cement to the most modern precast methods, all of them are impressive techniques and are destined to satisfy every taste and every requirement.

Construction solutions available on the market for the creation of a swimming pool are the following: with concrete or precast constructions made of metal and plastic.

The place of origin of the materials for the above constructions is usually France, Spain, Australia and China.
Reinforced cement is the most traditional and popular material on the one hand for its stability and hardness, on the other for its durability, which ensures supreme freedom in choosing the design and dimensions of the installation.

First of all we have to make a distinction between pools that are based exclusively on reinforced cement and those that have it only in some of their pieces (polymer). The first category includes pools that are created with "traditional" techniques and can be covered with any material. The pools of the second category are usually built with various materials (often plastic) and in some places they are "supplemented" with cement, which is used as a reinforcement of the construction.

Of course, there are other alternatives to this technology. We are talking about the various prefab systems, which are not behind in anything from the previous ones. Each category has its advantages and disadvantages, and for the selection of each of them many factors should be taken into account.

However, if we leave out all their differences, we find that one absolute "truth" applies to all of them: Regardless of the construction technique chosen, the costs are significantly reduced if the house and the pool are built together.

Reinforced cement

In the vast majority of cases, the pool is created from durable cement, reinforced with concrete and with the addition of abundant liquefaction elements. Reinforced concrete pools are made in dimensions and designs chosen by the customer. For the construction it is necessary to precede the marking and excavation, taking into account the plan and section drawings that define the depth and dimensions.

One of the main advantages of this construction is its very good quality and long life. On the contrary, one of its main disadvantages is the price and delivery time.
But let us look carefully at the composition as it takes place. At its depth, the cement is evenly spread in small portions, while after pouring the "slab", we proceed to equip the walls with reinforcing steel, which is applied to the irons of the central structure.

It is also very effective to introduce an anti-flood compound (something like an absorbent sponge) around the perimeter, which protects against possible leakage when filling the pool.

Then the accessories (such as the lighting) are arranged and a little later everything is ready for the "casting" of the walls.
As soon as the concrete "hardens", we can proceed with the internal and external sealing of the fixing keys and with the internal finishing (almost always before the plastering).

There is, of course, another process. In theory, it is possible to prepare equipment for monolithic casting as well, although the technical difficulties greatly increase the cost.

With the monolithic pour, the pool is created with a single pour, with durable concrete.
One of the biggest disadvantages of reinforced concrete construction is that pool water can "attack" the iron, causing it to swell and oxidize, eventually stripping it of its protective coating. At the same time the reinforced cement is susceptible to erosion from the external soil, while cracks can easily appear during cement correction or due to earth movement.

Multiple swimming pool

When most people think of a swimming pool, their mind usually goes to a reinforced concrete installation filled with tiles.

This is completely normal. However, as it turns out, building a polymer in-ground pool is much easier, plus when it's done, it doesn't look too different from a concrete pool.

The polymer frames have been individually strengthened and have great flexibility, which in case of an earthquake is very useful and which in short means that, in a polymer pool, it is very difficult to have cracks or corrosion, whether we are talking about normal ground , or for a seaside atmosphere

Finally, it should be mentioned that the line system that this type of pool has, offers an extremely wide variety of colors and designs for its interior.

Prefabricated swimming pools all tanks are called for swimming manufactured in a factory, either in one piece or composed of several elements. While until recently this particular type of pool did not respond to the personal taste of the client - as the latter had no say in the design and construction and could only choose between the proposed designs -, today with the latest developments in technology, a prefabricated pool can now to guarantee high quality and precision, as well as an extremely wide variety of shapes, dimensions and accessories that hardly leave even the most eccentric preferences unsatisfied.

The number of those who decide to buy a prefabricated swimming pool is constantly increasing. This development is certainly also related to the speed of delivery, which is much shorter than that required to design and build a "traditional" concrete pool. In addition, prefabricated pools may have a shorter lifespan than conventional ones, but they are much more economical.

(A 6×12 prefabricated pool may not exceed 16,000 euros, including design, construction and installation work, the pool frame, electromechanical equipment, the installation of the lip with concrete or marble materials and the interior lining with paint at the price).
The new GOK is now the law of the state where in article 4 par. it states:

Installation of an uncovered water tank or swimming pool, with a maximum surface area of 50 sq.m., served by external compact engine room systems and a reinforced concrete wall is not required for their installation and provided that the height of all structures at no point exceeds more one meter (1.00 m.) from the final ground level and as long as no excavations or embankments of the natural soil greater than 1.00 m. are required for its installation and the required planting of the mandatorily uncovered area is observed. For the installation, a statement is required from a competent engineer who assumes responsibility for the static and electromechanical safety of the construction and facilities.
